SIX MONTHS!

Porter was six months old yesterday! It's weird because three weeks ago we were checking into the hospital to have him and now he's halfway to a year...

At six months Porter is:
-rolling over both ways, sitting up by himself for short periods and starting to try to scoot himself forward.
-17 pounds, 2 ounces and 26.5 inches long. He's in the 50th percentile for height, weight and head. He's in 6 month clothes and some 9 month clothes.
-still nursing every 3 hours during the day and still in that newborn eat/play/sleep routine for the most part so he doesn't really have set naptimes. His nighttime sleep is awful, but at his check-up his doctor said he has reflux so we have started him on medicine for that which should improve his sleep.
-squealing, babbling and laughing all the time. He thinks Paxton is hilarious and they both love taking turns squealing at each other. He likes when Jared scares him.
-eating solids once a day (just for the past few days). Usually veggies-he's tried peas and green beans-but sometimes oatmeal. Eating solids isn't his favorite thing but he tolerates it.

He's growing up so fast and it's so fun to see him start to interact with Pax more and be able to do more on his own but he's already halfway through the baby stage and we are trying to soak that in as much as possible! I'm looking forward to his reflux medicine taking effect and am really hoping that makes him feel better.
