Paxton got a water table for his birthday and he loves it. We put it on the front porch to keep it away from the dogs. It probably doesn't add much to the curb appeal, but he loves playing with it.
It's also a great place for a certain little boy to practice his unassisted standing. He gets sidetracked watching cars drive by and forgets he's standing. When he's not paying attention, he can stand for several minutes at a time.
Sometimes we head out in our pajamas.
Paxton has decided that if the front door is open, he needs to be outside. I went out to grab the mail today and he started crying when I came back in without taking him out. We went outside. We probably play on the front porch five times a day. It's his favorite place.
One of my favorite mother/son memories happened on the front porch. On Friday night while Jared was out of town, Paxton and I sat on the front porch and had Popsicles. The weather was perfect and he was perfectly content to just sit on my lap with his treat.
