The World's Biggest Cucumber

While reading through some baby development websites, I found an article that said that at 26 weeks Paxton is the the size of a cucumber.  He is 14 inches long and weighs 2.2 pounds...how is that the size of a cucumber?  Two weeks ago he was the size of a Subway footlong and now he's a cucumber?  All I know for sure is that he is getting huge.  His kicks are way stronger than before and he goes from kicking me down by my left thigh to kicking me up by my rib cage on the right side.  I also think he was trying to bust out today.  I was sitting at work and just enjoying his movements when they suddenly got a lot stronger.  Looking down at my stomach, I could literally watch it move as he kicked.  It was the craziest thing.  It still is crazy to me that there's a tiny person in there.

We are thinking about getting a 3D ultrasound.  They are pretty expensive, but since it has been a healthy pregnancy, it might be our last chance to see the little guy before he's born.  One of the facilities that we have looked into has a viewing room similar to a movie theater where friends/family can watch the ultrasound.  The ultrasound also lasts about 30 minutes which is a long time to get to spend watching him do whatever he does all day.

I would also like to say that I'm pretty sure I have the best baby daddy in the world.  He has been so supportive throughout this whole pregnancy.  He has been at every single doctor's appointment with no complaints, he listens every single week when I tell him about all the amazing developments that Paxton is achieving, he talks to him, he gets excited every time he feels him move, and he was just as excited about registering as I was.  I could probably go on for about 14 more minutes but those are the highlights.  Basically I can't think of anything he could be doing better.
