Telling the Families--My Side!

We waited a little longer to tell our families we were pregnant this time....partly because we wanted to make sure everything looked good and partly because we knew some people were anticipating the announcement. We wanted to gather up everyone organically instead of staging a special occasion where they would know it was coming. We also wanted to make sure we told everyone on the same weekend so nobody would be left out.
For my family, we waited for a family game night about nine weeks in. We waited until everyone got to our house. I was waiting in Pax's room with him. He had on his Best Big Bro shirt. He was getting grumpy because he could hear everyone arriving and he didn't want to be cooped up in his room. I finally got the text from Jared that everyone had arrived so we made our way into the living room. Paxton was fussy, but the shirt did the trick!
